Description:

The RIO course is designed to provide instructors who will deliver SFT training programs with an overview of State Fire Training, CFSTES, and FSTEP, instructor registration requirements, instructor responsibilities and accountability, how to schedule and return courses, and the SFT Procedures Manual.

The CEET course provides in-depth instruction on the registration requirements for Registered Lead Evaluators and Skills Evaluators, processes and procedures to request and successfully deliver both written and skills certification examinations, and information on making the transition from instructor to evaluator.

** The RIO curriculum will be covered in the morning from 9-1pm, and CEET curriculum in the afternoon from 2-6pm.

Prerequisite:

None. The curriculum is designed for personnel interested in teaching State Fire Training courses.

Cost:

$230 plus a small processing fee for non-OCFA students. Payment will be processed on first day of class. If registered separately, RIO is $150 and CEET is $80.
