ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operations Training and Safety frequently recruits instructor positions for upcoming Career and Fire Apparatus Engineer academies.
SCHEDULE
These positions usually require a administrative assignment on a forty- hour workweek schedule (4/10 - Monday through Thursday).
COMPENSATION
*Instructors will be eligible for training staff assignment pay of 7.5% plus 10% in addition to their base salary.
*All details above are subject to change per concurrent MOU and/or Side Letter Agreement
HIGHLY DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• Instructor 1A and 1B or equivalent is highly desired
• Strong technical skills
• Computer skills with fluency in the Windows environment
• Strong written communication skills
• No long term vacations scheduled
