Helitender Training
Description:
This course is designed to prepare qualified Fire Apparatus Engineers to operate the helitender in a safe and efficient manner. The course will include operation, sampling, maintaining, LZ site selection, preparation, and communication.
** Please Note: This class is open to OCFA employees only **
Prerequisite:
Fire Apparatus Engineer
Water Tender Certified
Instructors:
Operations Training and Safety Staff
Staffing:
Overtime is approved, backfill is not.
Dress Code:
Station uniform, helmet, gloves, and brush coat. Safety Equipment is Required.
