Refresher

Description:

This course is a two-day refresher of the full Map and Compass class required for Fire Line EMT/Paramedic and Field Observers for Orange County Fire Authority employees. Course content includes skill reinforcement in use of maps and symbols, using a compass to find your field location on a map, using a GPS receiver to locate your position on a map, establishing waypoints, track logs and mapping the perimeter of a fire. The course includes both classroom and field exercises.

Completion of Map, Compass and GPS for Firefighters
