EMS Supply and Equipment Coordinator
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The duties of the EMS supply and equipment coordinator involve:
• Management of EMS supplies and equipment
• EMS HIVE site maintenance
• Interaction and account management with OCFA vendors
• Interaction with OCFA Purchasing/Service Center
• Participation in various committees within the OCFA and on the County level

SCHEDULE & TRAINING
The position requires a two year commitment to a 9/80 or 4/10 work schedule based on section manager need.

COMPENSATION
• The selected individual is usually eligible to receive staff and paramedic incentive pay.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Rank of firefighter or engineer (non-probationary status)
• One year full time as an OCFA sponsored paramedic
• Standard or above rating on the previous two performance evaluations
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong written communication and computer skills
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite products
• Working knowledge of the Elite system
• Thorough knowledge of OCFA SOP’s
• Good knowledge of OCEMS policies and procedures
